Since spoiled food represents 33% of the global food waste, our mission at Uvera is to participate in tackling the global challenge of halving food waste by the year 2030.

To employ innovation, science and technology to enhance sustainability management and to participate in resolving two of the world’s most concerning issues: food safety and climate change.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by the United Nations as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people live in peace and prosperity by 2030. The creativity, know-how, technology and financial resources from all of society is necessary to achieve the SDGs in every context.

Following our mission as a member of global community, Uvera is committed to achieving the sustainable development goal 12.3

SDG 12.3 target: By 2030, halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reduce food losses along production and supply chains, including post-harvest losses.
